If we listen closely enough to the stories of others, an alternative story will emerge which will allow for the transformation of each one of us to gain self-gratification and acceptance to take place.  What’s Your True Sexual Orientation?  You really don’t have to answer this personal question.  Why does anyone really need to know your sexual preference or gender identification?
One individual shared with us throughout his entire life in public with no strings attached for us his sexual identity.  David Bowie changed everything over & over and openly triumphed, reigned supreme, and experimented; with gender roles, fashion, wore heavy make-up at times, and pushed societal boundaries with everything he did.

He was a famous Rock singer, songwriter, actor, and legendary Artist.  David Robert Jones was born on January 8th, 1947, in Brixton, South England within the United Kingdom (UK), and known professionally as David Bowie.  He was born and raised in the UK.  Unfortunately we lost another legend on January, 10, 2016 when he died of liver cancer.   He is survived by his current wife Supermodel Iman, and daughter with her & son (from his first marriage).

A brief list of his achievements includes; in the United Kingdom, nine platinum albums, eleven gold, eight silver, and eleven number-one albums.  In the United States, he received five platinum and seven gold certifications.  Bowie was one of the world’s best-selling Artist.  He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.  In 2016, Rolling Stone proclaimed Bowie “the greatest rock star ever.” Throughout his career received so many accolades for his exceptional work its incredible to properly digest this how one man achieved so much.  He was unstoppable in music.

Bowie is a true legend that unequivocally set so many trends, and revolutionized a huge impact within the history of the music industry.  Sexual fluidity is a challenge to both traditional and alternative sexual human beings.   Bowie was a true pioneer Artist, and one of the first Celebrities very open about his fluid sexuality in the early 1970’s.

Here are five (5) of his biggest career hits on my review countdown ever created in the history of music.    His style of music has been classified as; Pop Rock, Glam Rock, Art Rock, Rock music and Wave Rock.
No 5:  Under Pressure – was made with legendary artists Queen and David Bowie in July of 1981.  This is perhaps one of the most powerful pieces of music Queen and Bowie ever wrote and performed together.  It was done in a recording studio in Switzerland a song that would become one of the most famous for both singers.  I would say this is one of the best David Bowie songs, and one of the best songs Queen ever recorded.  As it has amazing bass line, both singers vocals harmonize extremely well its no shock this song did so well.

No 4: Rock n’ Roll Suicide –I must say this song features Bowie at his best. You can feel his heart and soul fluttering into it from the first word to the last.  His vocal power and emotional attitude really makes this one of my favorites.  The first time I heard of this song, I found it strange because of the title.  But, the theme goes perfect with the rock vibe Bowie is pulling and displaying out full of wild emotions.

No 3:  The Man Who Sold the World -The title track off Bowie’s third album was released in the United States in 1970.  I find this to be one of his most extreme songs of all time.  After listening to this song it’s obvious that Bowie had his own unique style especially being from the UK.  As this was not the same typical rock voice you would hear in the US.  His voice helped create his unusual stylistic sounds that was different and new.  Due to versions by Scottish singer Lulu and grunge goliaths Nirvana helped make the song even more popular.

No 2:  Modern Love– was the opening track to his fifteenth studio album Let’s Dance, and the third single from the album in 1983. I would say “Modern Love” is most likely the best ‘pop song’ that I have ever heard Bowie perform. This song is about the challenge to find peace in love & religion. As the emotional heart of all the song’s message seems to be about modern romantic love, and for the love for God.

No 1:  Space Oddity -was released in 1969, I am extremely impressed as Bowie was only a mere 22 years- old-and started with this song what would build his historic music career legacy.  It was his first success and the song was revolutionary at the time both musically & lyrically.  Furthermore, it immediately set the tone on what Bowie had in store for upcoming Albums that would eventually help leave his mark in history.  This song is so good that even the 58th Grammy Awards, had Lady Gaga pay tribute to Bowie by singing this song, and performing a medley of tributes of his work to celebrate his life.  By far the best in my opinion.

Because of David Bowie many people now associate [sexual fluidity] with “freedom and self-determination.” This is how he portrayed his life through his music from the start of his career up until his death.  Bowie was attracted to both men and women.  His music was used as a voice for him to freely express his mood and personal sexual feelings at times.  Bowie was one the best Rock stars to ever exist.

We will dearly miss him and he will continue to live in our hearts through his music legacy he left us forever.  We wish his wife Iman, children, family, friends and fans the very best.
